Estate Agency for Kids

For immediate release: 17th May 2011

Estate Agency for Kids

Pink Residential, the nationwide estate agency, has today launched ‘The Estate Agency for Kids’.

Covering the whole of England, children can email in a picture, details and a price of their Wendy house, wooden play house or play tent and have it displayed on pinkresidential.co.uk alongside residential houses for sale. The children wanting to purchase can select ‘Little movers’ in our search box, then search an area and price range. They can then have their parent or guardian telephone the sellers parent or guardian to arrange the sale.

Melvyn Attrill, Director of Pink Residential said ‘Over the years we have often tried to make the children feel involved with the selling of their family properties. This is a completely new idea and when we spoke to our clients we received positive feedback to this new service which is currently being offered free of charge’.

The internet has revolutionised many businesses, Estate Agency is behind, why?

We are getting many clients and potential clients saying they wish they had known previously how our version of Estate Agency, which is a mix of online and traditional, works. There seems to be a large grey area when it comes to selling a house.

When we first opened our traditional estate agents ten years ago things were very different. An online or ‘sell it yourself’ idea didn’t usually work and resulted in the vendor losing time and then coming on with a traditional estate agent. Ten years down the line and it is the way we sell or find houses that has changed so much. Gone are the days where we stroll from agent to agent and eagerly await the release of the local newspaper in search of our new family home.

In the year 2011 we now look for our property online and then contact the relevant agent to gain a viewing. Admittedly, it is now that most of the work for an estate agent begins and that is no different for a company like us, Pink Residential.

Many homeowners are confused when it comes to selling their home, with many just unsure which is the best and safest route to take. This is hardly surprising when our property is our most expensive asset.

Often when we explain how our agency works in terms of selling a property people are often shocked to find out that there is no difference. We book and arrange your viewings, we gain feedback from viewings and negotiate offers. Some clients can be apprehensive and wonder if we will negotiate the best offer we can; the answer to this is yes, as one of our clients found out yesterday. We look after you chasing the sale for updates until your day of completion, moving day.

A common question that we hear is ‘How can you offer the same service so cheap?’ Simply, we rely on volume, we cover the whole of England and over our ten years have established a unique back office system using modern technology to simplify some of our administration tasks.

So if we do all this for a fee of just £355 plus vat then why are clients still using mainstream agents and paying thousands. The answer to that is ‘they’re not, once they realise how the industry is evolving’.

Houses sell their self and it's the work that is done after where estate agents really earn their money. Just two comments mentioned in the program last night. Two more good reasons to use Pink Residential.
